Desi Promises - Inspired by Shirin Neshat

I was inspired by Iranian photographer and visual artist Shrin Neshat who combined powerful imagery with the written word, by writing artfully over her photographs.

In the finished product, promises from the Bible are written over my Indian and Pakistani friends in Hindi and Urdu - depending on what they spoke.
